Social media has a negative affect on the general public because it takes away from face to face interactions in everyday encounters.

-Ability to hold conversation face-to-face with people

-Isolation
-Self esteem
-Addictive
Social media is a young but rapid growing way of communication. Users of social media already know of the many benefits it has to offer but need to be aware of the negative impacts it can have on an individual such as my supporting points.
